Digital Surfaces serves as a case study for learning parametric 3D modeling in preparation for the project, Modular Folding. The goal was to create a Grasshopper script from scratch for a modular, brick wall system and successfully recreate an existing parametric, brick project. After building a script, I modeled Gramazio and Kohler's, Structural Oscillations, built as an installation at the 11th Venice Architectural Biennale. The study further explored the extents of the parameters of the script, resulting in hundreds of variations of Gramazio and Kohler's project until the model was finally broken.
